What Luxury Vinyl Can You See at Carpetime's Showroom?

Here's what you'll find in the luxury vinyl section at Carpetime, which brands we carry, what we keep in stock, and how we'll help you choose.

The luxury vinyl brands we carry

Our luxury vinyl section has samples from these manufacturers:

  • For homes: Cali Floors, COREtec, Daltile, Engineered Floors, Inhaus, Karndean, Mannington, Marquis Industries, Mohawk, National Flooring Products, Paradigm, Shaw Floors and TRUCOR

  • For businesses: Aladdin Commercial and Philadelphia Commercial

Can you take samples home?

Yes. You're welcome to take our sample boards home, so you can see how the floor looks in your own lighting and next to your cabinets, walls and furniture.

Do you have luxury vinyl in stock?

Yes. Right now we keep about nine colors on hand, from Cali Floors' Longboards, Select and All Star collections and Marquis Industries' Titanium Series.

What's in stock changes as orders go out and new shipments come in, so the best place to see the current list is our In-Stock Luxury Vinyl page.

Because in-stock flooring is already in our warehouse, there's no waiting on a shipment from the manufacturer. We can install it as soon as you need it, depending on installer availability.

Is luxury vinyl right for your room?

Luxury vinyl is a strong choice for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, entries, and homes with pets or young kids, where spills and heavy wear are part of daily life. In bedrooms and upstairs rooms, carpet is still warmer, quieter and less expensive.

The one thing luxury vinyl needs most is a flat floor underneath. Floating floors require the subfloor to be flat within 1/8" over 6 feet and 3/16" over 10 feet. Dips and humps make the planks flex, which can cause them to separate or break at the joints. We check for this when we measure, and if your floor needs leveling, we'll include it in your estimate. Some prep needs don't show up until the old flooring comes up, so the final prep cost can change once we see what's underneath.

How we'll help you choose

A salesperson will ask a few questions to narrow things down:

  • Which rooms are you flooring?

  • Do you have pets or kids?

  • Is the floor underneath concrete or wood?

  • What's your rough budget?

From there, we'll pull a handful of samples that fit.
